Bag Packing at ASDA

On Saturday 29th November we will again be joining up with other groups from the town for a Bag Packing session at ASDA in order to raise funds for the group.
We need all Cubs and Scouts plus their families to come along for as much of the day as possible to help us raise as much money as possible.
Please talk to any of the section leaders to find out more.
Cubs and Scouts: Tuesday 11th November

Next week (Tuesday 11th November) the Cubs and Scouts will be meeting at Middlecopse (map and directions) so that we have the opportunity to light fires. Please ensure you read the arrangements on the website to ensure that you know what is happening.
Thorpe Park

Survival Camp: Photos and Video

Three Scouts from the troop took part in the County Survival Camp at Pinsent. During the weekend they had to build their own shelters and cook on open fires. They also learnt skills such as wild cooking, fire lighting, navigation and other survival skills.

New Term: Tuesday 9th September

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts all start back for the new term on Tuesday 9th September at the usual times.
Sponsored Cycle Ride

Last weekend the Cubs and Scouts took part in a sponsored cycle ride to raise money for Mityana, Uganda. We are still working out how much money we raised, but photos from the cycle ride are available.
