Welcome to the 8th Basingstoke Scout Group website.
The members of the group make up a tiny number of the 28 million Scouts around the world. Through the Cub Pack and Scout Troop we aim to provide fun, exciting activities for children aged 8 to 14 as well as challenge our members to do their best.
Vacancies for 6-14 year olds
The group currently has spaces in all three sections:
- Beavers (6-8 years)
- Cubs (8-10 years)
- Scouts (10-14 years)

Sponsored Cycle Ride

Last weekend the Cubs and Scouts took part in a sponsored cycle ride to raise money for Mityana, Uganda. We are still working out how much money we raised, but photos from the cycle ride are available.

On Tuesday 3rd June Scouts will be meeting at Middlecopse (near Brighton Hill). To allow extra time for lighting fires we will be extending the evening from 6:45pm to 9:15pm. A map to Middlecopse is now available on the website.

Beavers, Cubs and Scouts are taking a break over the summer. The next meeting for all sections is Tuesday 9th September.
