Welcome to the 8th Basingstoke Scout Group website.
The members of the group make up a tiny number of the 28 million Scouts around the world. Through the Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop we aim to provide fun, exciting activities for children aged 8 to 14 as well as challenge our members to do their best.
Vacancies for 6-14 year olds
The group currently has spaces for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years:
- Beavers (6-8 years)
- Cubs (8-10 years)
- Scouts (10-14 years)

8th Win District Quiz

The group's leaders have again shown that they know lots of useless information by winning the District Quiz 2009. The winning team were presented with the Graham Viner Trophy along with pencils, notebooks and other exciting prizes for winning individual rounds.
We'll be back to try to retain our title in 2010.

Bag Packing at ASDA

Basingstoke Sea Scouts have invited us to take part in a Bag Packing event at ASDA on Saturday 12th December. This is an excellent opportunity to raise funds for the group and directly reduce activity costs for those that take part.
We need help from all Cubs and Scouts plus parents from all three sections so that we raise as much as possible. Find out more about the day.
